Sarah Gaedecke is currently a Senior at Carl Albert High School.  She started Dance at 3 years old in Edmond Oklahoma as a Ballet and Tap Dancer.  As a military child, she moved everywhere:  Germany (2003-2005), Rhode Island (2005-2006), Virginia (2006-2008, 2010-2012), Georgia (2008-2010), and Florida (2012-2015).  However she was able to danced for 14 years in 7 studios!

She has taken Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Modern.  She started Pointe at age 13.  Performed in 5 Nutcrackers in 6 different roles: Snowflake, Flower, Party Girl, Spanish, and Doll.  She has performed in 18 Recitals.

With all the change, dance was always a constant. Dance was always a way for me to easily connect with and find my place wherever I moved and it just so happened to turn into my passion. Each dance studio I have been to has allowed me to experience all types of dance, teaching styles, and beautiful dancers. Dance has given me poise and confidence that I can carry with me throughout my whole life and I’m overjoyed to be able to share my love of dance with other young dancers.

When I graduate, I plan to attend a four year university to study environmental science and I hope to be able to continue helping to teach dance at a studio near whatever university I choose.
