My name is Rachael Wright.  I'm 19 from Harrah Oklahoma. I'm a college student at the University of Oklahoma. Dance has impacted my life in so many ways!

I have danced for 15 years, 12 of them at DMC.  I was an assistant teacher at DMC from 2010 to 2015.  I am now currently on staff as a teacher, choreographer, and office staff.

In high school I was a member and captain of my high school pom squad and was on the DMC Competition team.  I was picked for multiple scholarships from Soul de Soul dance and OKLA dance connection.  I have performed in opening numbers at OKLA and have won multiple awards such as top ten soloist at nationals and small group national champion.

Dance has impacted my time management, drive, and team skills. I am a full-time college student with two jobs. I would not be able to balance everything if I hadn't danced. I am a special education major, and I decided on this because of my experiences at dance. Through teaching students, with and without special needs, I discovered that special education was the career for me.
