My name is Addison Taron.  I started dancing when I was 4 years old at DMC.  Dancing at Christy’s made me realize how much I love dance.  Since then I have widened my dance education by taking classes from several dance teachers around the metro.

Throughout my dance career I have traveled numerous places to compete and learn from the best in the business.  I have traveled to Branson, Dallas, Tulsa, Daytona Beach FL, Arlington, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and New York City.  I have trained with choreographers such as Travis Wall, Mandy Mmoore, Nick Lazzarini, Kim McSwain, Kirsten Russell, Justin Giles, Caroline Lewis, Skye Massay-Cook, and Billy Bell.

My future plans are to attend college in New York City.  I also plan on auditioning to become a Rockette.  Dance isn’t just an extracurricular activity for me, it has formed me into the person I am today and I am forever thankful for the experiences it has given me.  I hope to open up my own studio and pass on all the life lessons I learned growing up in the studio to my own dancers one day.  Without the start of my dance career at DMC and the support of my wonderful parent and grandma, I would not have been able to do any of these amazing things.

In the 2014-15 season, I was an Oklahoma City Thunder Raindrop.  I spent a week the summer of 2016 at the Rockette Summer Intensive training with the Rockettes.  The summer of 2015 & 2016, I spent 12 days in Las Vegas training and competing with the best of the best.  I spent a week of intense contemporary study in the summer of 2016 training with Justin Giles and his SoulEscape the company.
